Chooch Sandavol
is Shane's son from a previous relationship. After Chooch’s mother, Sandy Sandavol, was killed in The Tin Collectors, he came to live with his estranged father, Shane. At first their relationship was rocky, but over time they grew closer. Chooch is also very close to his stepmother Alexa, whom he calls “mom.” Chooch attends USC in Los Angeles, plays football for the Trojans and dates his longtime girlfriend Delfina.
Chooch was stunned when he learned of Shane’s betrayal of Alexa and his resignation from the LAPD. Chooch has always looked up to Shane, but now their close kinship is quickly dissolving. This is yet another disappointment of many in Chooch’s young life. Will Chooch and Shane ever regain the trust that took so long to build, or is this the end of the road for father and son?
